If you're looking for an affordable source of portable electricity to run a selection of appliances in your home, garage or caravan then the 2.8kVa 6.5HP DC Petrol Generator was designed for you. Constructed from hard wearing, high-grade parts and thanks to its special design it is easy to transport and store away when not in use.
Maximising airflow and performance the open-framework that houses the powerful 4 stroke 196cc 6.5HP air cooled engine helps it to run efficiently and smoothly every time. Sparing no expensive inside either, each of our premium generators is fitted with a long-lasting, 100% copper motor coil instead of the more inferior aluminium alternatives for a greater, more reliable power output.
The flexible 2.8kVA 6.5HP Parker petrol generator has 110v, 220v AC and 12v DC outputs, each of which are regulated by the internal AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) for smooth voltage output, and a reduced risk of equipment damaging "power spikes".
IMPORTANT NOTE: It's always a good idea to carefully consider the demands of any equipment that you may choose to power with the generator. The start-up demand (the amount of power required to start any equipment) may well be higher than the overall general demand. You can find more information on calculation the requirements on specific blogs on the ParkerBrand website.
These generators are NOT suitable for powering LED lights or digital equipment of any kind.

All orders placed before 14:00 will be shipped same day (Monday to Friday) on a delivery service of your choosing.

PARKERBRAND WARRANTY – HOW ARE YOU COVERED?
We keep an accurate record of your purchase and the warranty associated with it – we’re keen to resolve any issues that may arise with the professionalism that you would expect of ParkerBrand.
While we invest a great deal of time designing tools that are robust and made to a high standard, like all machines, at times they do fail and we like to make things straight forward and easy for you to understand.
For your reassurance we want you to know all of our practices are in line with Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 SI 2013/3134 as well as the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Beyond that we work closely with UK Trading Standards to ensure our policies are fully compliant with local legislation.
Our two-year warranty was established so that you can really have faith in your purchase and by extension, us, as an established reputable manufacturer and seller of domestic tools and machinery.
The first year of your warranty covers for parts and labour, thereafter, for the second year it is parts only. We always work with our customers to provide an effective outcome within the warranty framework where this is possible.
EXCLUSIONS
We are not able to extend this warranty to wear and tear parts. In order for this to be clear we have taken some examples from popular machines for easy reference. These include but are not limited to:

Every effort is made to work pro‑actively to provide a solution. When parts such as those given above are required to be purchased, we work hard to ensure that a stock is maintained in order to make them available to you via the product pages on the website. We will direct you to the link if your enquiry is by email or send it on if we speak by phone.
If they are not listed under spare parts, we may still be able to help and we shall endeavour to do so. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need to discuss any aspect of your warranty. We are happy to do so.
MISUSE
Our warranty does not cover the damage incurred to a product during use. Examples include the product becoming damaged while in use and also being used incorrectly or against manufacturer recommendations.
We do however take great pride in our high level of customer care and will happily do what we can to assist you in getting up and running once more.

We may be able to solve the issue with some advice or by sending you a part.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF
It may be that we need to get the item back for a repair or exchange. We try very hard to make this as hassle free as possible. In some cases we send you a pre‑paid returns label so that you can return the item at no cost to yourself. Please note that we do not cover the cost of return postage where the order is over 1 year old.
30 DAYS
If the issue has occurred in the first 30 days we will of course be able to recover your item and aside from a repair or replacement. However, there is a refund option at this point if the fault is evident upon return.
Our design team put a lot of thought and energy into our products to make sure that you have a tool or machine that is reliable and works perfectly, just as it should. If there is a fault, we work hard to ensure we get things resolved as speedily as possible.
COMMERCIAL USE
We need to make it clear that unless otherwise stated, given or implied we do not offer any warranty to products that are being used for hire or reward (Commercial Use).

"Ordered this Monday lunchtime and was with me Tuesday morning! Great value for money. Brought this to take camping to Isle of Man (TT Racing)... Would have cost us £80 more to hire one for the week so saved money and got to keep it! We managed to power our mobile phones, fridge, lighting and even a Microwave! It has a 110V outlet on which we did not use but would be handy for anyone who has 110V power tools. The generator is not a silent type (which was the only downside) but we placed it a few meters away and ran an extension lead from the generator to our area. We had it on most evenings and would estimate it uses 1L per hour of fuel - which I thought was very good value for money.... Finally - the open frame design makes moving this unit extremely easy. It is heavy (40KG approx) but one person can move it but ideally you want two."

"how do you make this so cheap. ive had it for over 5 months and used for at least 100 hours. one feature not well advertised is that is has a 12v charger output. great for charging up our leisure battery on camp."
