A much anticipated addition to our power generation stable: The ParkerBrand PPG-6800 petrol generator has arrived! We listen to our customers,: over the last year these has been a significant renewed interest in back up power and portable power. As with most things, ParkerBrand are quick to respond to our customer needs. So it is with our new 6.8 KVA generator.
We adhere to the tried and tested design; robust and up to the job. You'll see it featured on our 2.8KVA and 3.75KVA petrol generators. However, the PPG-6800 is manufactured with a super-robust frame in order to ensure the essential elements are well protected so it can get on with the job of providing you with power.
Power Needs
With a massive 25 litre fuel tank capacity you get a an average run time of approximately ten hours (it really does depend on the demand of the items being powered) these are perfect for your home projects and general power needs. Although not suitable for powering digital equipment (you'll need an inverter generator for that) they are certainly suitable for a host of applications. If you are not sure about the power demands that need to be met - and if this or any of our generators are suitable then you can check this handy blog for clear guidance. You'll find it is highly informative, direct and very helpful.
The Beast, as the lads down in the tech shop have dubbed it, certainly lives up to it's name. It's large and energetic for sure. So much so that we have included a hardy wheel kit and handle bars so that you can move the machine into position. Portable power of this capacity does take some effort; but it is portable indeed and that's the key point here. With a dB rating of 79, the best isn't too wild after all.
Oil
Yup, it needs oil. But don't worry we've got it covered. You will need at least a litre of SAE-30 four stroke oil which you can also add to your order so that it will arrive altogether and you're not worrying about peripheral details or last minute dashes to the DIY shop but can concentrate on the job in hand.
Delivery
This is a large and bulky item, clearly, so although we will dispatch your order quickly (the same day if placed before 2pm) it may take up to three days to reach you. Dispatched with highly reputable delivery partners and fully tracked, you'll have little concern about delivery.
