Chrome vanadium in its raw uncast form: durable and rust resistant it is the perfect material for strong tools.Perfect for high stress applications across the board and absolutely ideal for tools in general, sockets, wrenches and spanners especially. Chrome Vanadium (Cr-V on the periodic table) is simply an alloy of chromium and vanadium that creates a unique and strong steel type.
Using a a cold-drawn heat-treated method of production the end result is a material of a durable and robust nature that is naturally absolutely suited for the construct of tools for the use in DIY projects and home mechanics. Chrome vanadium is particularly well suited for ratchets and socket sets. We offer a kit with a full ratchet set or one without a ratchet set if you are already equipped in this way.
