As is so often the case throughout the twentieth century and into the Twenty-First, an idea, trend or fashion starts on one side of the Atlantic and very much takes hold on the other. It seems to cut both ways, the ebb and flow of cultural ideas, policy and approach.
The model of free returns was a shock to many globally and thought to unsupportable. Amazon chased growth above all else and saw this service as a way to attract shoppers. Naturally this forced other competing companies to create similar returns policies. However, the tide is now turning.
Rowing Back Free Returns
Amazon U.S have now decided to charge for free returns, marking a notable shift from the company's early days when the ethos was grow-at-all-costs. Large companies such as Boohoo and Zara have scrapped free online returns in recent months and H&M is considering joining the trend.
While both Boohoo and Zara are already charging for returns in the UK, it is almost certainly only a matter of time before Amazon adopt the U.S. policy here in the UK.

You are welcome to return at your cost if you decide that you do not want the item if:
- It is within 30 days of receipt of your purchase
- New and unused/unfuelled - as it was received.

We offer free delivery in every location that we can, except for the Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland and it is a pleasure to be able to do so. However, Parkerbrand are not able to offer free returns on unwanted items.
Low Cost Returns
We'll be sorry that, for whatever reason, you wish to return your item. That's one reason why we got to such lengths to;

- Provide a Pdf of the manual so you can view every aspect of the product
- Provide an accurate description with all stats and associated key information.
